the train ride was quite long and the train was packed like sardines. it was slightly cooler up there.

We went further up north to Penang. This is my first visit to Bukit Bendera or Penang Hill. This hill has been a tourist attraction for a hundred years, and they dont even have a decent parking space (or I couldnt find one). We had to pay RM3 to park beside other people's house.
My personal opinion is that Penang doesnt need PGCC. What it needs is a super efficient mass rapid transit or a train network that could benefit the locals and tourist alike.
We were there at 11am, and our train was at 1.45pm! It was blistering hot!

Taiping Bandar Paling Banyak Menerima Hujan di Malaysia

We had a few days to kill so we went to Taiping - Junior's late maternal grandfather's hometown. Suffice to say he wrecked havoc in the small Taiping Information Center. Taiping is a good town for Malaysia to market, especially during VMY2007. However, I dont think the powers that be looked at Taiping hard enough.
